Handyman Service – Terms & Conditions

We’re glad you’ve chosen Lifestyle Real Estate Services, Ltd. d/b/a HouseCall Home Services for your home services needs. Our goal is to make things simple, clear, and fair for everyone. By booking or paying for a service, you’re agreeing to the following:
1. What We Do
We provide general handyman help — repairs, small projects, and home fixes. If a job requires a licensed trade (like plumbing, HVAC, or major electrical), we’ll let you know and can recommend a specialist.
2. Scheduling & Access
We’ll do our best to arrive on time and let you know if anything changes.
Please make sure we can safely get into the space and reach the area where we’ll be working.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, just give us a heads up as early as you can. Last-minute cancellations may be subject to a fee.
3. Payment
Payment is due once the work is complete, unless we’ve agreed otherwise ahead of time.
We accept the payment methods listed when you schedule your appointment.
Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees or collection costs.
4. Your Part
To help things go smoothly, we ask that you:
Give us clear information about the project.
Make sure the work area is safe and ready.
5. Limits to Our Responsibility
We’ll always do our best, but here’s what we can’t take on:
We’re not responsible for problems caused by pre-existing conditions or hidden issues we couldn’t see.
We’re not liable for any indirect costs (like lost use of a space).
If something goes wrong, our responsibility is capped at the amount you paid for the specific job.
6. Keeping Things Fair (Indemnity)
By using our service, you agree not to hold us responsible for problems that come from:
Unsafe conditions in your home you didn’t let us know about,
Not following our recommendations after we finish, or
Issues caused by your own actions or negligence.
7. Warranties
We don’t offer guarantees beyond the service itself. If we supply materials, they’re covered only by the manufacturer’s warranty (if one exists).
8. The Legal Stuff
